Q: Why it’s so important to floss?

A: According to the American Dental Association (ADA), flossing is essential when cleaning your teeth and gums Floss can remove plaque that can lead to cavities or gum disease from the areas where a toothbrush can’t reach.

When you don't floss, you're at risk for dental issues such as Gingivitis, and cavities between your teeth both can cause major damage to your teeth and or gums.

Q: When should I floss?

A: You should floss at least once a day, the best time is right before you go to bed to remove any food and plaque from between the teeth and along the gumline.

Q: How should I floss and what are the best products?

A: In order to get the most out of flossing you must clean the tooth with the floss, hug the tooth with the floss and move in an up and down motion, this will really help in removing plaque off the tooth. The best product to do this with is really any flossing product of your choice just as long as you make flossing a priority in your oral health care routine.
