We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being an important member of our dental practice and to assure you of our continued commitment to excellence in providing dental care for you and your family. We appreciate your understanding in our efforts to maintain respectful guidelines for our practice to keep the caliber of care and service extraordinary.
We attempt to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children are typically seen in the morning because they tend to be more cooperative, and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. More anxious children and children receiving treatment are typically reserved time in the morning. These children often worry throughout the day about their appointment and will be more prepared and have a better dental experience earlier on in the day.
We pre-plan and prepare for your child’s visit and hope you have done the same. Your appointment time has been reserved especially for you and we strongly encourage all patients to keep their appointments. When time is lost due to last-minute changes, other patients in need of treatment cannot be seen and your treatment is delayed, often resulting in negative consequences.
Should any scheduling changes be required, we require at least 24 hours advance notice to avoid a $50.00 cancellation fee per child per visit.
COURTESY REMINDER CALL
We consider all appointments confirmed when they are made. As a courtesy, we make every effort to remind patients by telephone prior to their appointment but please do not depend on this courtesy. We have found that with the recent popular use of answering machines, cell phones, texts, and voice mails, some of our patients may not receive these reminder calls.
If we are unable to speak with you directly, your appointment card will serve as confirmation and implies your obligation to be present at that prearranged date and time.
Our goal is to assist you in obtaining quality care within your budget.
For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and ATM.
It is customary to collect your insurance co-pay at the time of your visit. We’ll be happy to help you structure a payment plan after that time to pay out any remaining charges.
For extensive procedures, we’re also pleased to offer financing plans through Care Credit.
Our office accepts all indemnity insurance plans, which allow the patient freedom of choice to select their dentist. We have elected to participate in several Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) which allow patients to seek the care in or out of their insurance network.
A Note Regarding Dental Insurance – Our billing department will happily complete and submit all of the necessary forms directly to your insurance company. However, we send a gentle reminder that your insurance coverage and policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company, so we are not always privy to all of the details of that agreement.
We believe in partnering with our patients to ensure you receive your maximum benefit allowance with your plan. Dental insurance coverage can often be confusing, so rest assured we are here to help!
