Dr Julia Brown
Born in Redlands, California, Julia Brown completed a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in biology at California State University San Bernardino before attending Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006.
Dr. Brown believes that educating her patients and their parents is very important to prevent cavities and the problems that occur years later. She takes great pride in sitting down and making sure that young families understand how to prevent these problems. She utilizes conservative and safe procedures and is known for her gentle touch while providing high quality dentistry for children in a comfortable and fun environment.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Tri-County Dental Society.
Amazingly, Dr Brown’s favorite pass time is work! Aside from her devotion to work, Dr. Brown’s other passions are her husband Shawn, children Whitney, Genevieve, and Maxwell and her two world-famous poodles. She loves celebrating life with her friends and family, drinking tea, and telling corny jokes.
Pamela has been a Dental Assistant for 4 years. She attended Chaffey College where she completed the Registered Dental Assistant program as an Honor Student and was Secretary of the Dental Assistant Club.
Pamela works in the back office as an assistant to Dr. Brown and is one of the assistants performing dental cleanings and x-rays. She is known for always smiling and having a lot of patience with children. She has a way of explaining things to them that puts them at ease.
Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors. On her days off she goes hiking with her 6 year old dog Brite and at least once a year she goes camping with her husband, family and friends. She also enjoys cooking and baking.
Amanda will usually be the person who greets you over the phone and when you arrive. She mainly works behind the front desk of our office but she also has experience working hands on in the back office as a registered dental assistant. She has a B.A. in Sociology and has been an RDA since 2010. She graduated as her class’s Valedictorian, was on the honor roll, was a member of the national honor society and had a 4.0 GPA. Before she was a RDA, she worked for 4 years as a tutor at Yorba Linda Unified School District.
She is very friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of her way to make sure that any questions or concerns are addressed and that you are completely comfortable while you are at our office.
While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her puppy Bruce and her family. She also likes getting pampered by having her nails done and browsing the aisles of Target for the latest sale.
Maura has been a dental assistant for many years and has worked in several fields of dentistry including oral surgery, general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
Maura mainly works in the back office as an assistant to Dr. Brown and will usually be the person performing dental cleanings. She is known for her gentle touch and has a way of explaining to our patients what we will be doing in a way that is very positive and puts them at ease.
Outside of work she loves to take her 3 pound Chihuahua Umi for walks. On the weekends, she with her husband and daughter cheer on her 14 year old son during his soccer games. She also loves gardening with succulent plants.
Dr. Jason S. Bishop
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Jason Bishop, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, joins our team as a Pediatric Dentist having completing his pediatric dental specialty training program at The Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2005.
Dr. Bishop graduated magna cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and earned his dental degree (D.D.S.) from the nationally renowned University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Prior to entering his pediatric dental residency, Dr. Bishop practiced general dentistry in the San Francisco Bay Area and taught as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Bishop has extensive experience with treating private practice, public health, and special needs patients as well as extensive experience with oral conscious sedation and general anesthesia. In addition to his educational credentials, Dr. Bishop has also completed over 350 hours of continuing education in Orthodontics. Active in the community, Dr. Bishop has been both a program developer and volunteer for pediatric and adolescent dental programs in underserved areas of California.
Dr. Bishop is active in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD), the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the California Dental Association (CDA).
Widely traveled, Dr. Bishop is bilingual in English and Spanish. His hobbies include surfing, skiing, snowboarding, playing tennis and biking.
Dr. Hanieh Hassani
Dr. Hanieh Hassani has been practicing dentistry since 2009. Knowing her passion in working with children she continued her training in Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda School of Dentistry. She has extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric dental care, including caring for infants and patients with special needs.
Despite being serious about fighting cavities, she enjoys trying to make each child’s dental experience fun and memorable. Before and after graduation she has been involved in community service, multiple mission trips and leadership.
Dr Hassani is bilingual in English and Farsi. She lives in Redlands, CA with her husband Ali. During their spare time, they enjoy hiking, skiing and spending time with friends.
Rhiannon has been a Registered Dental Assistant for 13 years. She has worked only in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. She attended Chaffey Community College Dental Assisting Program where she was on the Dean’s list.
Rhiannon works at the front desk and will help you with any insurance questions you may have. She will be able to schedule your appointment and help you any way possible. She is nice and loves working with kids to make sure they have fun dental experience.
In her free time, she spends time with her loving family and 2 year old daughter. They love to go camping and spending time outdoors, especially going to the beach or river. She bakes cupcakes and is always trying a new recipe.
Terri has been a Registered Dental Assistant for many years working in the back office, in multiple fields of dentistry such as General Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Genera Anesthesia, as well as Orthodontic and Pediatric dentistry.
Terri works in the back office as an assistant to Dr. Brown performing X-rays, dental cleanings as well as chair side assisting and making our patients feel comfortable and at ease during and after their appointment.
Outside of work Terri enjoys being around and doing outdoor activities with her family. She enjoys summertime and loves going to the beach and going RV camping with her family, she also enjoys spending time with her 5 nieces.
